Fuel Analysis
Most tank system installations don’t allow you to see the condition of your fuel, nor the condition of the storage tank. AB Fueltration team understands this difficulty and has trained petroleum mechanics that are trained to take physical samples from the tanks. Now some fuel may appear clear, and clean; however, most fuel cleanliness is determined on the molecular level. Based on this AB Fueltration sends all samples to be analysed by a third party laboratory to obtain its grade and condition.
Each Sample Analysis includes:
- Retrieval of samples from tank(s)
- ISO cleanliness test
- Karl Fisher water test
- If requested a lubricity test of the fuel can also be completed.
Mobile Polishing
AB Fueltration provides a quick and easy way to get your fuel, and keep it up to the required state so that your equipment operates as it should. With the option of mobile filtration the client schedules polishing of their fuel at their convenience. No matter the size of the tank(s) AB is equipped to look after your needs.
What’s included in each mobile polish service:
- Before and after samples (Which will be both sent to the laboratory for review and comparison)
- Fuel polishing process (Dependant on the tank size and amount of fuel, this process could take multiple days)
- Visual review of fuel tank system to ensure no leaks or hazards are present
The Filtration Process

1Intake and return lines are installed into the storage tank to establish a closed-loop filtration process.
2Fuel is drawn into the filtration process and forced through the patented integrity Series Filter.
3Particulate, emulsified water, freestanding water and alcohol bond with the filter resin and are trapped inside the filter via a covalent bonding process.
4The cleaned fuel is then returned to the storage tank where the process begins again.
Permanent Solutions
Permanent solutions include the installation of your own continuous polishing system which allows you to keep your fuel clean all year round. As each tank system is custom to its own application, the permanent solution will be custom designed to its application. The polishing technology that AB Fueltration installs is the same as used in our mobile systems; however, it is catered to the buyer and their needs.
